Janisch (born in KecskemĂ©t, Hungary, 1957)) is a Hungarian director. He graduated in 1984 from the Academy for Performing Arts. In 1991 he made his feature film debut in Shadow on the Snow (ĂrnyĂ©k a havon). His other films include Long Dusk (HosszĂș alkony, 1997) and After the Day Before (MĂĄsnap, 2004). He has also made several documentaries, such as Yvette Bozsik (2002) about the famous Hungarian dancer and choreographer, and directed films for television.
