He participated in many international festivals and won several international awards, most notably Best Short Fiction Film at the Busan International Film Festival, South Korea in 2012, and Best Film about the Revolution at the Alexandria Film Festival in 2011, as well as Best Screenplay in Tiznit Festival in Morocco, 2012.
