It happens in 1930. Since LEUNG YAT MUI has got married, she is maltreated by the whole YIP family after her husband's death. However, she still has to work hard without any complaints. When YIP SO KUEN sees that, she feels that it is very unfair. At the Festival of the Weaver, KUEN, LAU YING and the four girls who have decided not to marry, NGAN, SIN, SO and KWAN, get together at WONG YUK FONG's house to celebrate for the festival. When FONG knows that, she scolds them violently. The business of the silk factory becomes very poor. KAN recommends to close the factory. MAN promises. KUEN finds it very unfair. Under the direction of TAK, the workers then parade in the village. MAN is afraid that the matter will become worse and promises to repay the salary to the workers. When everyone is celebrating for their success, TAK suddenly kisses KUEN. This is noticed by FUNG. KUEN feels very embarrassed.

MAN feels very angry and beats FONG. HEI requests MAN not to beat FONG. This affects her pregnancy. Finally, she gives birth to a son. After serious consideration, KUEN determines to break her promise. However, YING decides not to marry forever. Does YING really keep her promise? Can KUEN and TAK have a good ending? …………….
