Laxmi Bai opposes Rao Dulhajo's opinion of giving harsh punishment to the rebels. Sanjay Lohar's proposal for a peace talk and his demand for Gangadhar to come alone and unarmed surprises Laxmi Bai, who volunteers to go in his stead. Rao Dulhajo offers to accompany her. Laxmi Bai is attacked by Sanjay Lohar and his men. Rao Dulhajo is Nelson's accomplice. Narsingh Rao's warning about Rao Dulhajo's attitude makes Gangadhar suspicious. Gangadhar rescues an injured Laxmi Bai.
