Overview

Laxmi Bai informs her royal Indian allies at the peace ball that the Indian nationalists need to execute their plan. Rao Dulhajo informs Rose that there's a bomb in the cake. Rose refuses to cut the cake and provokes the Indian contingent. Amidst Indian unease, Laxmi Bai whispers to Larai Sarkar that the cake-cutting is necessary for the nationalists' success. A disguised Karma stops Dulhajo as he flees the venue. As Laxmi Bai is about to cut the cake, Rose and a few Britons move away from it.
