Overview

Wilson orders Manson to provide Manu with 1000 gold coins. When Manson grudgingly does so, Manu says that the money belonged to the Peshwa only. Motibai dresses up because Gangadhar is supposed to return to the palace. Lachchu gives her a herb to weaken Gangadhar so that Motibai can win his love but the latter refuses. When Gangadhar arrives, Motibai goes to welcome him, but he doesn't look at her. So, she mixes the herb to give him. Raghunath announces that Gangadhar will marry Manu.
