Overview

Before Nureddin could reunite with Saladin, Saladin was again called to Egypt. Cathillon sought to disrupt the peace between Nureddin and Amalric by inciting discord in Gaza. The attack on Gaza, which houses the tomb of Sayyid Hashim bin Abdumanaf, altered Saladin's plans. Saladin sought the perpetrators, and King Amalric sent Balian to Gaza, bringing them together. Karategin, who went to assist Saladin, faced haunting memories. The identities behind the Gaza massacre and Karategin's secret remain unknown. Şemse is close to finding his mother in Damascus.
