Overview
In the second season (2006), the facts between the assumption of Justo José de Urquiza after the Battle of Caseros (1852) and the suicide of the radical leader Leandro N. Alem, in 1896, are given, giving main attention to characters such as Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and Julio Argentino Roca, already made as the War of the Triple Alliance and the Conquest of the Desert. For this occasion, the following actors were summoned: Antonio Grimau, Fernán Mirás, DarÃo Grandinetti, Daniel Rabinovich, Jorge Marrale, etc.

The fifth chapter of the series and first of the second season, begins with the Battle of Caseros of 1852 (which had already been narrated in the last chapter of the first season) won by the Army, and therefore, the arrival of Urquiza to the power. This episode ends with the assumption of Bartholomew Miter to the government in 1862 and its beginnings as the first Constitutional President of the Nation already unified after the integration of the State of Buenos Aires and the Argentine Confederation, and the implementation of the constitutional reform of 1860.
