Focusing on the beautiful sales associate Tomomi Shimahara, Rio Yazaki urges her to lend Ito money even after he neglects her and puts her down.

The Ito described by the second woman Rio consults with is a self-centered, obliviously rude annoyance. Not unlike an up-and-coming writer Rio knows.

Shuko's story connects perfectly with Tomomi's, much to TV producer Tamura's delight, making Rio even more hopeful for her screenplay.
