She can't find Nogi Yuta and finds out that Hanafusa Chiyo already died, three years ago. She then goes on to find Nogi Yuta in order to give him the letter. Shunya confesses to Rumi, but agrees to be friends for now. Chinatsu tells Rumi not to worry about her in order not to feel conflicted about Shunya. Meanwhile, Hatano realizes that her resentment toward Saeki is due to her own behaviour of forcing herself to work harder.
