TSIN is still well respected in Yuet, which worries SHUI beyond measure. SHUI reminds Prince YAU to stay vigilant all the time. SHUI is stunned by the solemnity of the worship service and is so surprised at the support TSIN has received from his people all through the ceremony. TAN asks SZE to let her stay with CHAI so that she will have a greater chance of getting pregnant. CHAI flirts with SZE in front of LAI at Wan Wah Palace. LAI is in great pain and means to drink himself into oblivion in the rain. SZE comes to look after LAI who is as drunk as a skunk. The next morning, LAI wakes up and finds SZE’s hairpin on the floor.
