Rügen doctor Nora Kaminski is amazed at the dinner her partner Max Jensen pulls off after practice hours: The best table for two on the grand veranda of Lietzow Castle Hotel! When the champagne cork pops too loudly and the secretly planned fireworks go off far too early, Max’s meticulously planned marriage proposal descends into the next catastrophe. Instead of the next course, an emergency call comes from the kitchen. Head chef Elisa Tack is suffering from stabbing abdominal pain. Treatment in the hospital is out of the question for the young woman. The ambitious chef is expecting a famous restaurant critic, whose review could launch her career in Berlin’s gourmet scene.
