Overview

Desmond Lynam introduces the pick of the action from today's FA Cup third-round matches and a roundup of all the other games. This is the stage where Premiership clubs enter the tournament and rarely do they all survive. Top-flight clubs anxious to avoid an ignominous exit this year include Aston Villa, who meet struggling Hull City of the third division, and Leeds who meet non-league Rushden and Diamonds.
