All the magic of the Cup is about to envelop the two Premiership sides who line up this afternoon for the 125th annual showpiece occasion at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. The Merseysiders, favourites for a seventh Cup win, have a slight psychological advantage, having recently beaten their opponents in the league when Luis Garcia and Hayden Mullins were sent off.
